I visited the Crepe Cellar in NODA this past weekend. It was only my second time ever setting foot in the joint. If you're a fan of crepes, this is the place for you. I knew they did phenomenal breakfast, but was unsure about dinner. I arrived a little later than I normal would for dinner...about 8:30pm. I did not have a reservation as I was a little unsure that I would really want to eat there. The good thing about NODA is that they have a ton of restaurants very close to each other. There has been talk about Charlotte's Mayor, Anthony Foxx, joining President Obama's cabinet. If those rumors are true, then I can understand why he recently decided not to run again. I assumed being the Mayor of Charlotte would be a pretty sweet gig...but if you want real power, then you head to Washington. What I didn't assume was that, as Mayor, you only get $37,000 per year. Not sure if you're as surprised as I am by that figure, but I can't blame the dude for wanting to jump ship. Full article about his decisions can be found here.
